On 2 September 2022, IPPP Chairman Billy Tam attended the Belt and Road Global Annual Roundtable 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The theme of the Annual Roundtable is Charting a Sustainable and Robust Path to Opportunities in a New Era. Three presentation and free discussion sessions were conducted: 1) Green Development Trends along Belt and Road; 2) Building Supply Chain Resilience amid Global Disruption; and 3) Mitigating Risk for the New Normal. During discussions, a few Members voiced out the view that during post COVIT era, governments shall boost economic recovery by enabling investments on major infrastructure projects. Project delivery by PPP is one of the effective means to relief the financial burdens of governments.
