On 26 August 2002, our Chairman, Billy Tam and Vice-chairman, Francis Sootoo, attended the Innovation and Technology Forum entitled, “Planning, Land and Housing Development in Hong Kong” organized by the HK Polytechnic University Policy Research Centre for Innovation and Technology (PReCIT). The hybrid forum has attracted over 300 participants from different universities, research institutes and public organizations to contribute strategy and discussions about propelling Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology hub related to future Northern Metropolis. The forum covered the presentations by various Academia on the future planning, land and housing, applications of Smart City, Technopole, Cultural and Heritage consideration for the Northern Metropolis.
