On 9 June 2022, the IPPP delegation (Honorary President Walter Chan, Chairman Ir Billy Tam, Vice Chairman Ir Francis Sootoo, Vice Chairman Ir Steven Lai, Honorary Secretary Moon Wei) paid a courtesy visit to Ir Dr Otto Poon, Founder and Chairman of ATAL Engineering Group and IPPP Honorary Advisor. IPPP presented the preliminary findings of the Application of PPP for some of the potential projects in the Northern Metropolis.  The needs for application of PPP projects in the Northern Metropolis and the use of new technology and concept such as smart city were discussed in details.
