On 1 June 2022, the IPPP delegation (Chairman Ir Billy Tam, Vice Chairman Ir Francis Sootoo and Vice Chairman Ir Steven Lai) paid a courtesy visit to Ir Dr Hon Lo Wai Kwok, Member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, representing the Engineering Functional Constituency, and the Chairman of the Public Works Subcommittee. Ir Dr Hon Lo is also one of our IPPP Honorary Advisors. IPPP presented an update on the latest office bearers and activities of the institution. IPPP also presented the IPPP Development Strategy and the preliminary findings of the Application of PPP for some of the potential projects in the Northern Metropolis.  

 

IPPP raised the suggestion that a PPP Centre shall be established in Hong Kong to enhance collaborations between public and private sectors and to facilitate more effective implementation of infrastructure PPP projects.
