As our Founder Council has been continuing to work hard in the "Talent Search Program" in this Fire Rooster Year, we have some great news to share. We are delighted to announce that your Institution has a new Honorary Advisor Professor Man Wai Chan . Professor Chan teaches at Hong Kong University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University specialising in PPP project financing. He will chair the Green Finance Committee in your Institution. Will you provide full support to Professor Chan to lead the Institution to become the PPP Finance knowledge centre?

We like to advise that the Institution of Public Private Partnerships had held the Extraordinary General Meeting on 1 December 2017 and amended the Articles of Association in the clause of the number of members in the Institution from 25 to unlimited. In the Meeting, it was also confirmed we have nineteen Founding Members to form the Council of Institution of Public Private Partnerships.

The Council have four committees Learning and Development, Green Finance, PPP Guide Translation and Conference Organizing with the intention to promote PPP for the Belt and Road Initiative via learning and sharing knowledge, and the green finance to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions. The PPP Guide Translation Committee has contracted with APMG to translate the World Bank PPP Guide into Chinese. The Committee has completed the first PPP Certification Program Foundation Examination and the relevant PPP Guide. It is being reviewed by APMG.
It was announced on 1st November 2017 at the 3rd China PPP Financing Forum that World Bank Group and China Public Private Partnerships Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding stating that both parties will work together regarding PPPs and promoting APMGs PPP Certification Program CP3P in China.
The Learning and Development Committee is talking to University and Authority Academy to conduct courses of public private partnerships. Progress is satisfactory and very encouraging.
The Conference Organizing Committee is organizing the first one day conference in April 2018.
