The Institution of Public and Private Partnerships has sent 9 delegates comprising 7 Council Members and 2 Members to attend the 2019 Belt and Road Summit on 11-12 September 2019 in Hong Kong. To promote business collaborations along the Belt and Road, the HKSAR Government has been organizing the Summit with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council since 2016. This year, over 5000 delegates, business leaders and professionals from over 50 countries have attended the Summit. The Summit is themed “Creating and Realising Opportunities”, apart from the conference, the Summit offered more opportunities for project pitching, as well as investment and business matching.
Mr. David Leung, Council Member of IPPP attended the Belt & Road Global Forum Roundtable and shared PPP projects implementation key issues with the audiences from PPP professional perspective. IPPP delegates took this valuable opportunity to promote the role of IPPP in Hong Kong.
